Montecito Bank & Trust commemorates 35 years of providing financial services to
Santa Barbara and Ventura County communities by awarding Anniversary GrantsSM to 10 local nonprofit organizations. We appreciate the important contributions our local nonprofits make to the vitality of our communities, and we are pleased to be able to continue this tradition, especially at a time when economic realities make the need that
much greater."
Chairman of the Board Michael Towbes said, "This is the eighteenth year we have made these Anniversary Grants, and I am particularly pleased that the recipient organizations are chosen by a vote of all the bank's employees. This gives them a personal stake in the decision, and I believe it encourages
all of our staff to learn more about the nonprofit organizations which are so important to this community."
The following organizations were chosen by the bank's employees as the 2010
Anniversary Grants recipients:

- Animal Shelter Assistance Program (ASAP)
- C.A.R.E.4Paws
- Channel Islands YMCA
- Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Santa Barbara County
- Dog Adoption & Welfare Group (DAWG)
- Elverhoj Museum of History & Art
- Santa Barbara Foresters/Hugs for Cubs
- Parkinson Association of Santa Barbara
- Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation
The Anniversary Grants were presented to these 10 nonprofit organizations at a special afternoon reception held on Wednesday, March 17.
