Tactical Allocation Portfolio (TAP)

The value of broad diversification

The Tactical Allocation Portfolio (TAP) is an equity strategy that utilizes an indexing approach to obtain broad and cost-effective diversification to the equity market using Exchange Traded Funds (ETF's). The portfolio includes allocations to nine sub-asset classes.

The broad diversification of the Tactical Allocation Portfolio has historically helped the portfolio generate higher returns than the S&P 500 index, while experiencing less volatility. The Tactical Allocation Portfolio uses a disciplined rebalancing process to insure that each portfolio's allocation optimizes the "diversification benefit" while still allowing for the ability to "tilt" the portfolio toward the asset classes with the highest anticipated returns.
